Definitions-

Line-

The Line would be the path created by a moving point. And example would be a pencil. The line can be horizontal, diagonal or curved.

Example: Five studies of male heads looking downwards-1910-Henri Gaudier-Brzeska

Tone-

The tone would be the lightness and or darkness of something. It could be referring to the shade or how dark or light something is. Light tones are called highlights and darker tones are called shadows.

Example: Harmony in Grey and Green-James Abbot Mcneill Whistler-1872-4

Colour-

Colour is referring to the different colours, tone and shades being used to make art work look nice  aesthetically.

Example: Hyena Stomp-1962-Marry Louis

Form-

Form is a three dimensional shape.  For example a cylinder and cube rather than a two dimensional shape. Sculpturing is an art form that revolves around form. Form also refers to the way in which 2D drawings can be made to look 3D by shading. It also describes the elements that already exist within a  picture or a structure.

Example:

Shape-

Shape would be an area enclosed by a line and can be filled in or just an outline. Shapes can be either geometric or irregular. Sizes and position must be taken into consideration when drawing shapes.

Space-

Space is the distance and or area around, between and within the pieces of art. The space can be negative and or positive.It can also be two dimensional or three dimensional.
